Join us for a dynamic conversation with inspiring Black women leaders at the Black Women Leaders Panel, a centerpiece of our Black History Month festivities at ISU. Co-hosted by Multicultural Services and Programs and the Career Center, this event is on Thursday, February 8, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Career Center.

Meet our esteemed panelists:

Nichelle Campbell-Miller, MSW Social Worker Nichelle brings a wealth of experience as a school social worker at Sarah Scott Middle School in Terre Haute, Indiana. Recognized for her community service during the pandemic, she received the Indiana Social Worker of the Year award in 2021. Passionate about advocacy, Nichelle actively contributes to empowering the next generation.

Shonta Sellers, MBA Executive Director of Institutional Marketing With over 25 years of marketing expertise, Shonta's creative thinking has grown brands in various sectors. A proud HBCU graduate, she is also an active life member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. When not working, Shonta enjoys family time, sports, and exploring new destinations.

Sonja Jordan Director of Diversity Equity and Belonging at Ivy Tech Terre Haute Bringing 10 years of higher education experience, Sonja currently serves as the Director of Diversity Equity and Belonging at Ivy Tech Community College Terre Haute. Passionate about impacting students\' lives, Sonja is dedicated to creating inclusive environments and achieving personal bests in marathons.

Dr. Kelsey Bogard Assistant Professor, Department of Educational Leadership & Program Coordinator, Student Affairs and Higher Education Dr. Bogard is an Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator at Indiana State University. Her commitment to social justice and equitable learning environments is reflected in her leadership and research on race in higher education and women in leadership.

Join us as she shares her insights into student development and post-secondary education.
